This week we plan to begin sending out emails to our Austin Stone Counseling Center counselees letting them know about our transition. Here is the letter we planning to send then announcing our departure from Austin Stone. I hope this letter is a blessing to you as you walk the journey of ministry that God has for you.

I am so encouraged by all that God has been doing in your life and I wanted to let you know about an important change happening in mine.

Through much prayer and with consideration of transitions taking place in my family, God has made it clear that He is writing a new chapter of ministry for me. I am sad to leave, but hopeful regarding what God is doing. I will be transitioning from the Austin Stone Counseling Center team by the end of the year. Below is a letter that I recently gave to the Austin Stone Counseling Center team and my peers which provides more context and details.

With my departure, I would love to assist you with finding another Austin Stone Counselor as you continue in your care journey.  There are many qualified and gifted individuals who are ready and able to take over as I transition out. Please let me know if you need any assistance with finding someone that would fit your specific needs at this time.

If you have any questions related to continuing with the Austin Stone Counseling Center, please feel free to contact info@austinstonecounseling.org.  If you have any questions that might pertain to me personally, you can reach me at donna@burkecare.org (and jim@burkecare.org).

Thank you for allowing me to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ during our time together.  I am praying that God will continue to faithfully show Himself strong in your life and He will persevere you through all that He has for you.
